The YTS-D-1 Oil Quality Sensor monitors the dielectric constant of lubricating oil — a property that changes as impurities like water content, wear particles, acid value, and base value build up in the oil. By tracking dielectric constant changes over time, you can understand the overall performance trend of your lubricating oil, detect aging, determine oxidation degree, and ultimately assess oil quality for optimized drain intervals.

Description

The dielectric constant of lubricating oil is affected by impurities such as water content, wear particles, acid value and base value. By monitoring the change of dielectric constant with our YTS-D-1 oil condition sensor, you can understand the overall performance trend of your lubricating oil and obtain the aging status of the oil sample.

The degree of oxidation can also be used to determine the overall quality of the oil sample — enabling condition‑based oil changes rather than time‑based drain intervals.
