YTF-8 Dual Slide Analytical Ferrography 1 / 6

The YTF-8 Dual Slide Analytical Ferrography is used for further analysis of wear particles in oils and grease (need to be diluted). It collects wear particles from oil or grease to do detailed identification. By flowing the sample through a high‑gradient magnet, ferromagnetic wear particles are separated and deposited on a glass slide to complete the ferrogram making.

Description

Dual Slide Analytical Ferrograph YTF-8 — Complies with ASTM D7690, Ferrogram Maker. Used for further analysis of wear particles in oils and grease (need to be diluted); collects wear particles from oil or grease to do detailed identification.

Principle: By flowing through the instrument's high‑gradient magnet, ferromagnetic wear particles are separated from the oil or grease samples, then deposited on a glass slide to complete the ferrogram making.

Ferrograph Microscope FX-4

Complies with ASTM D7684. Double light path microscope of transmitted and reflected light; specialized halogen light source helps wear particles highlight and be easily observed.

Accurately analyzes the color, shape and size of wear particles, clarifies what type of metal and what type of severe wearing caused them, tracks the root reason of equipment wear, so maintenance actions can be taken in time.
